He brought a car and posted a thread about his car. I was actually following that because I was curious about the KWID. But you know what it's really frustrating to find any info about the KWID because the thread is derailed with unrelated bullshit about japanese cars and so on.

Also dude I don't think 'unsuspecting people' need saving from you guys. People are capable of making choices and you should respect that. Constructive and relevant critisism is welcome. But you talk about tachometers and 0-100 acceleration on a entry level car?

It's our duty to save our fellow elakirians from these kind of junk and direct them to real "cars"

OP brought up the performance factor and he actually said KWID tops Vezel when it comes to ride comfort. OP himself compared the entry-level car to a Japanese hybrid urban SUV. So why can't Gune compare the KWID with a similar priced Jap?

Oh yeah with parking assist, sensors, cameras and simulation on the screen, it's hard to park your Toyota Sedan and that is the number 1 problem.

if anyone is gonna buy a entry level indian car then KWID is definitely better than the rest of that indian shit(Which is what this thread is about i guess). meaning this is less shitty obviously. i dont know about comparisons with the VEZEL though. thats obviously stupid. given the price difference. anyhow this thread is about the KWID and the comparison with the other entry level indian cars. btw you think a 15 year old lancer is a"real" car? that is shit too. i woudnt buy either a indian KWID or a 2002 lancer wasting my money lol

Do you realize most people buy a vehicle to travel from point A to point B and do not care about these statistics? Not everyone buys a car for the same reasons or performance enthusiasm as you do.

The OP has taken a decision and purchased a KWID. That's his money. His choice and his PREFERENCE. I do not understand why everyone is butthurt about that and post all kinds of comments saying there are better vehicles. Who the hell cares if there are. You all seem to know his requirements better than him.

For starters, he posted this thread on the Internet, on a popular discussion board, under automobile section, and comments are not closed? If you don't want others opinions, you can may be not post it online?
Nobody is butt hurt. One team is eager to buy a Kwid, and don't give a fuck about what others say. The second want to buy a car, and are somewhat skeptical about buying it because what others say. The third is confident about the Japanese cars and always look down the Indian cars. You see, everyone can hold on to their opinions and post them here. Hell, if o wanted to post a butter cookie recipe , I can.

If you have a budget of 22lakhs and you want to buy a car what would be your choice?

For that budget Lancer is one of the best options out there, with official support from the manufacturer
