Road section to be closed for construction

A section of the Old Avissawella-Colombo Road from Wellampitiya Junction to Kotikawatta will be closed for construction between the hours 9.00pm to 5.00am for 10 days from today

ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කටයුත්තක් හේතුවෙන් කොළඹ - අවිස්සාවේල්ල පැරණි පාරේ වැල්ලම්පිටිය හන්දියේ සිට කොටිකාවත්ත දක්වා කොටස දින 10ක කාලයක් වරින් වර වසා දැමීමට තීරණය කර තිබේ.

ඒ අනූව අද සිට දින 10ක් රාත්‍රී 9 සිට පසුදින පෙරවරු 5 දක්වා එම මාර්ග කොටස වසා දැමීමට නියමිතය.

එම කාලය තුළ විකල්ප මාර්ග භාවිතා කරන ලෙස පොලිසිය රියදුරන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලීමක් කරයි.

they opened it briefly for a week or so and closed up again..now not even a tuk tuk can make through..last time I tried, there was a huge pit in the middle of the road..I think it opens up directly to hell
