Who Made God?
In light of all the evidence for a beginning of the space-time universe,the Beginner must be outside the space-time universe. When God is suggested as the Beginner, atheists are quick to ask the age-old question, “Then who made God? If everything needs a cause, then God needs a cause too!“
As we have seen, the Law of Causality is the very foundation of science. Science is a search for causes, and that search is based on our consistent observation that everything that has a beginning has a cause. In fact, the question “Who made God?” points out how seriously we take the Law of Causality. It‘s taken for granted that virtually everything needs a cause.
So why then ¬doesn‘t God need a cause? Because the atheist’s contention misunderstands the Law of Causality. The Law of Causality does not say that everything needs a cause. It says that everything that comes to be needs a cause. God did not come to be. No one made God. He is unmade. As an eternal being, God did not have a beginning, so he ¬didn’t need a cause.
“But wait,” the atheist will protest, “if you can have an eternal God, then I can have an eternal universe! After all, if the universe is eternal, then it did not have a cause.“ Yes, it is logically possible that the universe is eternal and therefore ¬didn’t have a cause. In fact, it is one of only two possibilities: either the universe, or something outside the universe, is eternal. (Since something undeniably exists today, then something must have always existed; we have only two choices: the universe, or something that caused the universe.)
The problem for the atheist is that while it is logically possible that the universe is eternal, it does not seem to be actually possible. For all the scientific and philosophical evidence (SURGE– Second Law, Universe is expanding, Radiation Afterglow, Great galaxy seeds, Einstein’s GR–radioactive decay, and the Kalam Cosmological Argument) tells us the universe cannot be eternal. So by ruling out one of the two options, we are left with the only other option–something outside the universe is eternal.
When you get right down to it, there are only two possibilities for anything that exists: either 1) it has always existed and is therefore uncaused, or 2) it had a beginning and was caused by something else (it can’t be self-caused, because it would have had to exist already in order to cause anything). According to overwhelming evidence, the universe had a beginning, so it must be caused by something else– by something outside itself. Notice that this conclusion is consistent with theistic religions, but it is not based on those religions– it is based on good reason and evidence.
So what is this First Cause like? One might think you need to rely on a Bible or some other so-called religious revelation to answer that question, but, again, we don’t need anyone‘s scripture to figure that out. Einstein was right when he said, “Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind. “Religion can be informed and confirmed by science, as it is by the Cosmological Argument. Namely, we can discover some characteristics of the First Cause just from the evidence we‘ve discussed in this chapter. From that evidence alone, we know the First Cause must be:
• Self-existent,timeless, nonspatial, and immaterial (since the First Cause created time, space, and matter, the First Cause must be outside of time,space, and matter). In other words, he is without limits, or infinite;
• Unimaginably powerful, to create the entire universe out of nothing;
• Supremely intelligent, to design the universe with such incredible precision
• Personal,in order to choose to convert a state of nothingness into the time-space-material universe (an impersonal force has no ability to make choices).
These characteristics of the First Cause are exactly the characteristics theists ascribe to God. Again, these characteristics are not based on someone's religion or subjective experience. They are drawn from the scientific evidence we have just reviewed, and they help us see a critically important section of the box top to this puzzle we call life.
GOD always existed
The Beginning of Life on Earth
In the second part of the Sutta, Buddha tells the story of how the human beings came to dwell on Earth.
The Buddha told that sooner or later, after a very long time, there would be a time when the world shrinks. As the universe shrinks, many of its inhabitants would die. Of these deceased creatures, some were born again (due to good karma) in the Heavenly realm of Abbhasara (Lucid Light). මෙක අර ලොක 31 කට සම්බන්ධයක් නැද්ද දන්නෙ නැ නෙ? There, they floated for a very - very long time, as a bodiless, radiating extreme light. They don't eat or drink, as they nourish themselves from pure spiritual joy.
Then, after some very long time, when the World began to expand again, many of these Abbhasara creatures were born to the newly formed Earth. ඉබෙ පහල වෙලා ද කොහෙද? They floated above and around the Earth. At this time, there were not yet seen the Moon and the Sun, there were not yet Night and Day, there were not yet names and identity or female or male. The creatures were only known for creatures.
At that period, Vasettha, there was just one mass of water, and all was darkness, blinding darkness.... And sooner or later, after a very long period of time, savory earth spread itself over the waters where those beings were. It looked just like the skin that forms itself over hot milk as it cools. It was endowed with color, smell, and taste. It was the color of fine ghee or heated butter and it was very sweet, like pure wild honey (1) විදාව අපිට උගන්වන්නෙ වෙන දෙයක් ....කොහොමද මෙවා ඉබේ රස වුනෙ? සුරන්ගනා කතා විදිහට පෙන්නේ අපෙ කතා විතරද?
Some of the creatures of light (the Abbhasaras) who had curiosity and a greedy nature began to dive and taste the savory Earth's substance. At that moment, the creature found out that it tasted so delicious. මොකාද මෙ සතා? අලොකයට බදු සතෙක් කිව්වා නෙ ඉතින් මොකොමද මෙයාට රසක් දැනෙන් නේ? භෞතික නොවනවා නම් රස දැනෙන් නෙ කොහොමද? Thus, greed started to seep in and it ate the substance voraciously, greedily, thus calling also its comrades (who were flying above and on earth) to join in the feast.මෙන්න බොලෙ තව කට්ටියක් ඇවිත්Not long afterwards, the creatures began to eat so greedily and due to the huge amount of the mud substance, they could feed on it for a very long time. යකො එ කියන්නෙ මෙ ලොකය බිහිවෙන්න කලින් තන්හව තිබිලාවත් ද?
As they ate and ate, their luminous body began to be coated by the mud substance, formed a coarser body, then suddenly, the sun and moon were seen, එක පාරට ඉර හද මතු වෙලා ? so were the stars, and also Night and Day began on Earth. The logical explanation of this was that the creatures were the self-luminating, so blinding and luminating that they didn't notice the Sun. ආ එකියන්නෙ එතරමටම අලොකයක් මෙයාලාගාව තිබිලා ...හා..... හො..... හො.....The Earth was covered in their light. Their body hardened more and details began to turn finer. මෙකත් මහ විකාර කතාවක් කැමකින් එකපාරට අලොක සත්තු භෞතික මිනිස් ශරිරයකට හැරිලා අනෙ මන්දා
After another very long time, the mushrooms also began to exhaust, replaced by cassava or turnip-class plants. They also began to devour it night and day, and thus they began to notice differences amongst them. As the changes of their bodies varied with one another, the concept of difference arose. The beautiful and the ugly concept was born. The beautiful scorns the ugly and they became arrogant of their appearance. එකම සත්තු ටික එකම කැමක් එකම විදිහට කැවා නම් කොහොමද වෙන්ස් සත්තු වුනෙ කියන එකත් සැහෙන්න බොන්න ඔනැ ප්රශ්නයක්
Then, after the turnips, the earth was grown with rice plants. The first rice plants were without husk and kernels. The sweet and honey-like rice flourished seeds abundantly. The people consumed them for a very long time. But there are people who became greedy and lazy. They took more rice than they needed for one day's meals. They began to take two, four, eight, and sixteen days' of rice reserves as they were too lazy to take rice everyday. Owing to this, many other creatures began to store and hoard the rice. The generation time for rice plants became slower and slower. Usually, it took only one night for the plant to grow and be ready to be consumed, but by the karmic power,මෙකත් ඉබෙම පහල වෙලා? කර්ම ඇති වුනෙ කෙසෙද? වෙතනාවක් නොමැතිව? the plant began to grow slower and slower. Also the rice grew in kernel and husks, scattered, of which the creatures must work, nurse, maintain, harvest, and cook them to obtain the white rice.
By this time, the body of the creatures had been finely evolved. There was already the distinction between male and female. අප්පටසිරි පුදුමයි හරියටම ගැහැනු පිරිමි වෙලා..... අර වෙන කට්ටිය බිහිවුනෙ නැද්ද දන්නෙ නැ නෙ? The man became preoccupied with women and vice versa. Then, as they were deeply attracted to one another, passion and desire aroused, and they engaged in sexual relationships. ගැහැනිය මුලින්ම පිරිමියා දුශනය කරා ද දන්නෙ නැ නෙබලනකොට මේ ලින්ගිකත්වයත් ඉබේ පහල වුන දෙයක් එහෙනම් The people who saw a couple engaged in sexual activity scolded them, and usually the couple were forbidden from entering the village for a certain period of time. Owing to this, the indulgent couples built closed dwellings where they indulged in sexual activity. එ කාලත් ලින්ගිකත්වයට මිනිස්සු බැනලා තියෙන්වා එහෙනම්

අවජාතක සූකරයො දැන් උඹ මේ මාර විදිහට බුදු දහමේ තියෙන දේවල් හොයා හොයා නහිනවා. ඒත් පුලුවන්නම් කියපන්කො උඹේ ආගමේ ලෝකය ඇතිවෙචිච විදිය ගැන කියලා තියෙන දේවල්. ඔන්න අවජාතකයෙක් මේ ලෝකෙ මැව්වා කියන්නනම් එපා මොකද එතනින් එහාට අපිට පිලිගන්න කිසිම දෙයක් නෑ. අනික අර Net එකින් හොයාගෙන පත හෑලි copy paste කරන්නේ නැතුව පැහැදිලිව කියපන්.
