A shooting incident has been reported at Kalawalgala, a remote village in the Thanamalwila area few hours ago (17th January). According to available information four people with gunshot injuries have been admitted to the general hospital Thanamalwila.

Hospital sources said, one of the injured has succumbed to injuries and another three are presently being treated at the hospital.

Security has been tightened in the area.

Agreed machan...like how Ravi Jayawardena gave arms training to Welioya villagers.. i have a feeling those villagers wont put up with this shit for too long...i hope they will take arms and fight back..LTTE fu*&ers and their supporters should die like dogs..
