Don't compare Curtin degree with any othr degree given by local universities. Its damn damn hard and only few get through.. CURTIN does not give honors but getting through is very hard (pass mark is 50 but sometimes you may get repeated even you get 52 but your assignments were not 50%)
Since you are going abroad and degree is offered by Curtin University (they come and hold final exams, they bring papers and take them and then mark by them) itself, its the degree you should do.
If you stay local there is no big difference in between them since SLIIT degree is approved by UGC, but you are planning to work abroad or migrate do Curtin. As i know if you apply for a PR it will add more points if you have a aussie degree
