Can someone tell me the average speed through out the day of this 8Mbps package?. & the time it would take to download?. Let's say a 2GB file. Although we can calculate the time using some sites, I'd like to know about the average time from someone with the experience?.
& also, if someone have the experience of the speed being reduced, I'd like to know about that too.
I'm considering about changing my SLT ADSL connection from old unlimited (512Kbps) to this "8Mbps Web Familiy" package. http://www.slt.lk/broadband/p_family.html
I read this thread from the start till the end. As far as I could figure it out, it might be better to move to this 8Mbps package. I mean, while the speed is great comparing to 512 one, I might able to manage it with the download limitations, even if I have to exceed it for a bit sometimes (according to what some people have told here. & it might be true, since I have similar experience about exceeding limitations with my 512 package.)
So, I want good details.
