මේ දවස් වල ඇස්.ඇල්.ටි. කාරයො තම්න්ගෙ ඒකාධිකාරියෙන් උපරිම ප්‍රයෝජන අරන් පරණ කස්ටමර්ස්ලගෙ කනෙක්ෂන් සේරම 40GB වලට ලිමිට් කරල තියෙන්නෙ. නමුත් මේ පිළිබදව ටෙලිකොම් එකෙන් කිසිම දැනුවත් කිරීමක් කලේ නැහැ. ඒක පාරිබොගික අයිතීන් උල්ලංගනය කිරීමක්. අනිත් අයගෙ වගේම මගෙ කනෙක්ෂන් එකත් 40GB පැනපු ගමන් ලිමිට් කලා.

මම මේ පිළිබදව මුලින්ම පැමිණිලි කලෙ SLT එකටමයි. ඒකෙ ඉන්න රන්මලී කියන සුපර්වයිසර් කෙනෙක් කිව්ව දැන් හැමෝවම ලිමිට් කරල තියෙනෙ කියල.

ඊලගට මම බැලුව මේකට මොකක්ද කරන්න ඔනෙ කියල. මම මේ පිලිබදව පැමිණිලි කරන්න තියන ඊලග ආයතනය වෙත පැමිණිලි කලා. ඒ කියන්නෙ TRC එකට. එකෙ මේ පිළිබදව ඉන්නෙ සනත් සිරිවර්ධන කියල මහත්මයෙක්.

මම අද මේ මහත්මයත් එක්ක සාකච්චා කලා. මේ මහත්මය කියන විදිහට SLT එක අපෙ පරිගණක වලින් භාවිතා කරන විදිහ පිලිබද සම්පූර්ණ වාර්තාවක් දීලලු තියෙන්නෙ. උන් කියනවලු අපිට එක ගිගාබයිට් එකක් වෙන්නෙ රුපියල් හතලිහක්ලු. වෙන බ්‍රෝඩ් බෑන්ඩ් දෙන ජංගම ජාල වල ගිගා බයිට් එකක් රුපියල් 240ක් වෙනවලු. ඒක හින්ද උන් කියනවලු මේකට ලිමිට් එකක් දාන්න ඔනෙ කියල. තව උන් කියනවලු උන්ගෙ සර්විස් එක සවුත්තුනම් වෙන සෙවා සපයන ආයතනයකට මාරු වෙන්න කියල.

නමුත් අපිව එහෙම එකපාරටම ලිමිට් කරන්න SLT එකට අයිතියක් නැතිලු. එහෙම කරනවනම් ඒ ගොල්ලො ඒක අපිට දැනුම් දෙන්න ඔනෙලු. මේ පිලිබදව SLT එකත් එක්ක සාකච්චා කරන්නලු ඉන්නෙ. අපිට මේ ගැන ඒගොල්ලන්නට ලිඛිතව දැනුම් දෙන්න කියලත් අපේ අවශ්‍යතාවන් මොනාද කියලත් කියන්න කිව්ව. කලින් අපි අර ගහපු petition එක ගැනත් ඒ ගොල්ලන්ට දැනුම් දෙන්න කිව්ව. තව ලෝකෙ තියන ADSL පැකෙජ් පිළිබද විස්තර දෙන්නත් කිව්ව. තව දෙයක් ඇමෙරිකාව , කැනඩාව, ඕස්ට්‍රේලියාව හැර කියල විශේශයෙන්ම කිව්ව. ආසියාවෙ ඒවනම් තවත් හොදයි කිව්ව.මොකද අපේ ට්‍රැෆික් එක තියෙන්නෙ එක පැත්තකට විතරලු. ඒකනිසා අපෙ බැක්බොන් එක ගනන් වැඩිලු.අනිත් රටවල් වලත් ලිමිට් තියනවලු. ඒක හින්ද අපිට අනිත් රටවල් වල තියන ADSL connection වල විස්තර දෙන්න පුලුවන්නම් අපිට වාසි වෙන යමක් කරන්න පුලුවන්ලු. හැබැයි ඒ ගොලන්ට SLT එක ගේන තර්ක බිදින්න තොරතුරු ඔනෙලු. ඒකයි අපිට ලිඛිතව පැමිණිලි කරන්න කියන්නේ

අපි මේකට තනිවම සටන් කරල බැහැ. අපි මේකට එකතු වෙලා යමක් කරමු. අපි කලින් වගේම petition එකක් දාමු. හැබැයි මේකෙදි අපි කියමු SLT එකට හොද සේවාවක් සමග අපිට සාධාරණ දත්ත භාවිතයක් දෙන්න කියල. ඒ කියන්නෙ අපිට අඩුම තරමින් 50GB දත්ත ප්‍රමාණයක් සමගම 2Mbps ලයින් එකක්වත් දෙන්න කියල. මේක මට තනිවම කරන්න පුලුවන් වැඩක් නෙමේ. මේකට මුලින්ම අපි සිංහලෙන් සහ english වලින් දෙකෙන්ම හැදින්වීමක් හදන්න ඔනෙ. ඒක පුලුවන් කෙනෙක් ඉන්නවනම් කියන්න. ඒවගේම අපි සිරිවර්ධන මහත්මයට පුලුවන් තරම් ලිඛිතව අපේ පැමිණිලි ඉදිරිපත් කරන්න ඔනේ. ඒ පැමිණිලි ඉදිරිපත් කරද්දි අපෙ පරණ petition එක සහ SLT එකට විරුද්ධව පැමිණිලි සහ අදහස් පල කර ඇති සියලුම වෙබ් ලිපිනයන් සමග ඉදිරිපත් කරන එක තවත් වාසියක් වෙනව. තව SLT ෆේස්බුක් page එකට පුලුවන් තරම් complain කරන්න ඔනෙ.

මචාල මට කව්රු හරි එකෙක් english වලින් එකක් හදල දියන්. මම සිංහලෙන් එකක් හදන්නම්.

මෙන්න මේ කරුණු තියෙන්න ඔනෙ.

1. අවම 50GB ලිමිට් එකක් ඔනෙ
2. 2Mbps ලයින් එකක් ඔනෙ
3. මුද්‍රිත මාධ්‍යයෙ හෝ ටෙලිවිශන් මාධ්‍යයේ හරි දැන්වීම් දාල සමාව ගන්න ඔනෙ

මේක හොදයි TRC එකට යවන්න. මේක යවන්න නම් අපි හොයන්න ඔනෙ ආසියාවෙ අනෙක් රටවල ADSL පැකෙජ් වල විස්තර ඇතුලත් කරන්න ඔනෙ.

මම අද TRC එකට ගිහින් සනත් මහත්මයාව හමුවී මේ ගැන සාකච්චා කළා. ඔයා මේකේ කියල තියෙන දේවල් සේරම ඇත්ත. ඒ සේරම දේවල් ලියුම්, දත්ත, වාර්තා සේරම මට පෙන්නුවා. අපි යවන ඊ මේල් සේරමත් එතුමා බලනවා. ඒවාට ගත්ත පියවරවල් උනත් සේරම ලිපි ගොනුවල දාල තියෙනවා.. මට පෙන්නුවා.

අපි සේරගේම තියෙන අන්ලිමිටඩ් සම්බන්දතා සේරම දැනටමත් ලිමිට් කරලා තියෙන්නේ. ඒවාට ලැබෙන GB ධාරිතාවයන් පිලිබඳ අවසාන තීරණයක් ගැනීමට මේ වන විට සාකච්චා කරමින් යනවලු. මේ බොහෝ විට ලබන මාසයේදී ඒ පිළිබඳව තීරණයක් අරන් අවසාන සීමා පිළිබඳව අපිව දැනුවත් කරයි.

At the moment SLT is the No 1 ISP in Asian Region providing 1GB data block for cheapest price. He showed me the 1GB price list of ISP's in other countries as well as in SL.

It's Official that All Unlimited SLT connections will be limited soon. SLT/TRCSL will announce the bandwidth limits within December. At the moment they are trying to figure out a Bandwidth margins.

We can suggest them our demands, requirements for a better internet experience. If SLT agree we will get that bandwidth limit. Please send them your bandwidth requirements, affordable price, etc.

lankabell limited packages have more data plans rather than slt 25 35 gb crappy .. hopeless about wavecom if they r depending on slt or lanka bell in other hand y cant lanka com company subsidiary of Singapore start up adsl connections for home like naked adsl without phone rental like in australia

most of 512kbps users request 50GB bandwidth. So its pretty fair & very similar to that bandwidth.

8 X 512 kbps = 4Mbps
8 X 50 GB = 400 GB

If they agreed to give 50 GB for 512kbps users, it means that cost per 1GB is fair & profitable for SLT. So my requirement & request GB margin also valid.

According to Mr Sanath & SLT, there are only 5% of unlimited broadband users. And only 5% users from that 5% are 4Mbps Xcel users.
