good if they are making profits. yeah emirates going to cancel cmb-singapore route after october. but it has made singa tickets very expensive.

we need budget flights to singa and other countries. but our airport doesn't give any concessions to budget airlines like other countries do...

ya but overall it has more disadvantages from the travel industry perspective..

singaporeans are frequent travellers and they have lots of budget airline options to surrounding countries. sri lanka is not among their first choices probably because of high air ticket prices etc etc.

but sri lanka is an ideal destination for them due to nature (what they are craving for), beaches and buddhist historical places if we can make the travelling process easier and less expensive. overall it'll be a gain. but our govt/officials do not know how to leverage an opportunity.
