Yeah, he should have been scarier. As far as I know, they used minimal CGI for his costume.

Yes more realistically, if Army has discovered that there is a parallel dimension breach in hawkings, they should have 24-hour surveillance and maybe a military base in the town. But this show is very entertaining though. That is what matters in the end.
