Tsunami threat for Lanka until Apr. 18

Sri Lanka and other South Asian countries might be facing a tsunami threat following an earthquake that will strike close to Indonesia in the period from today (Apr. 10) to April 18, said professor of geology at the Peradeniya University Athula Senaratne.
The tremor should occur in the seabed of a depth of between 10 and 15 km for the threat to become a reality, he has said.
Prof. Senaratne is claimed to have found a method to predict earthquakes. He has studied all the tremors that had taken place from 1900 and their possible links between the sun, moon and the planets.
Prof. Senaratne has predicted that five earthquakes would occur during this month.
His earlier prediction of a quake in Japan during the past week has become true.
