Avishka is not a t20 batter. His 30+ t20 innings proves that much. Even in the domestic tournament, he failed except for once. The same goes for Minod.
Actually, we don't have a good epener to support KJP. Eventhough Chandi succeeded in the domestic tournament where there is no opponent analysis at all he will probably fail in t20wc. He scores only on full length deliveries he has no shots to score off good length deliveries. Best possible choice would be to use either Bhanuka R or Dhana.Lakshan as an opener.

Wanidu should be used a floater to attack spinners in middle overs, He is so much better against spinners than pacers. Furthermore his talent is wanted at 8.
Even though the pitches will be spinner friendly I hope we would play Pradeep. He is the only pacer with the ability to nail yorkers at the moment. 2 main spinners with DDS, Kamindu , Asalanka can fill the spinners quota.
