im thinking of buying a kindle too

It don't sucks ban. Believe me. I thought that also. But now, I'm doing fine with it. I was also looking for a Kindle but ultimately settled with Nexus 7. It's good and affordable and do lot more than a Kindle.

If you're not reading more than a 2 hour continuously(I bet you don't do), go for a Nexus.

Purchased a Nexus 7 (2012) 32 GB for 20K and read almost around 10 books so far. When I read 20 books, I will cover the price of Nexus (1 English book ~ Rs 1000)
