In most arab countries your hand will be cut off for stealing....were you at the place when someone got beaten...do you know the reason why?

Without knowing everything in what might have happened...

I dont understand why people are so BIG about this ARAB LAW of chopping off hands and legs!

Dude.. do you think such acts are fair? Do they even have fair trials in Arab countries? Do you know a fellow Sri Lankan Muslim girl still on the death raw for a crime they put on her for when she was sooo under age?

Did any one in the Muslim community in SL came forward to voice about it? Any religious leaders? How are we assured they have given a fair trial? Even Sri Lankan diplomats were not given green light to enter the country!

I can respect many aspects of Muslims but not this stupid law!

Not everyone might be like that....in this world there are good as well as bad people...citing one bad guy, you can't tell the whole world is bad...also citing one good guy you can't say the whole world is good...

i asked the persontage cos its minor comparitively,you'll find more cases of domestic violance against women in sl in a weekend news paper.
arabs are being portrayed as a devils for political reasons, we all know that.

its my opinion that by giving such punishments saudi actually has succefully controled the crime rates. i wont say 100% but definitely better than sl where all the murderers and rapists are roaming around freely, we have people who pull the chain from tsunami survivors and let them to die..

in that girls case i'm not sure about exact details..but can you show me a judicial system where no mistakes happen?

its my opinion that by giving such punishments saudi actually has succefully controled the crime rates. i wont say 100% but definitely better than sl where all the murderers and rapists are roaming around freely, we have people who pull the chain from tsunami survivors and let them to die..

So in your opinoin we should chop off hands of those who steal? How about rehab? Do you believe in Rehab? Rather than chopping someone's arm and leg and let him loose into society with more hate..... why not rehab them and free them into society again! Doesn't that sound more humane to you?

I don't accept cases that have happened during tsunami as well...but this is NOT Saudi...people tend to steal more because they are poor...that's the reality!

Maybe because if they shout in SL Saudi will cut off all funds for mosques that's why
