මචන්ලා මම Toyota IST එකක් ගන්න හදන්නේ .. ඒත් මම වාහන market එක ගැන ලොකු අවබෝධයක් නැති කෙනෙක් ...මට මේ වාහනේ ගැන හොඳට දන්න කියන අයගේ උපදෙස් ඕනි ...පොඩි දෙයක් හරි දන්නවනම් කියන්න ලොකු උදව්වක්. මන් ගාව තියෙන්නේ VIVA ELITE එකක් ...Toyota AE 110 එකකුත් කලින් තිබුණා .....(මගේ budget එක උපරිම 26lks.ඒත් 23lks අවට නම් ගොඩක් ලේසියි . )


මට දැනගන්න ඕනේ මේ වගේ දේවල් …
මොන model එකද ගොඩක් options තියෙන්නේ ? (Ex : from 2003 to 2007 )
මේ වාහනේ තියෙන අවාසි මොනවද ? හොඳ දේවල් මොනවද ?
Petrol කීයක් විතර වැඩ කරනවද ?(1300 CC and 1500 CC )
මේ වාහනේ ගත්තොත් ගත්තාමද ? එහෙම නැත්නම් හදිස්සියකදී විකුනන්න පුළුවන්ද ?
මේ වාහනේ වෙනුවට වෙන තියෙන හොඳ alternatives මොනවද ?

ඒ හැච්බැක් එකේ අලුත් එකද පරන එකද? පිටිපස්ස කෙලින්ම තියන එකද ඇන්ගල් වෙලා තියන එක්ද? අලුත් එක නිකන් SUV එකක් වගේ. ඒක පට්ටා. කොහොමත් දෙකම හොද පෙට්‍රල් වාහන.

I own a second generation (2008) IST. 1500 CC auto. I have not much idea on the 2003-2007 models but I can assure you that they must be good cos the second gen model is rock solid. The only thing I dont like in the 2003-2007 models is that all the meters are in the centre of the dash board and that is not a good placement. If you need info about the second gen. ist, let me know.

JDM version is IST. UK/Europe version is Urban Cruiser, US version is known as the Scion XD.

Market price now for second hand = 31 - 35 lakhs. (Depends on the mileage) I have a KN - number one bought it in 2011 (unregistered) with a milage of 31000. costed around 38.5 lakhs. A very sporty car. feels much like a jeep. Petrol consumption is around 12 on normal traffic (given that theres no 20 min or so traffic blocks ) and on highway it goes past 14. From what I know it has the same engine specs. as of the 121 corolla but weighs 50Kg more than it. 16 inch wheels are stock sizes which given good ground clearance so you can go over most areas without hassle. The large wheels and the heaviness of the car gives good stability so braking is superb. It stops nearly on the spot.
My advice is to go for a 1.5L one cos you will have no doubts when overtaking. The "S" mode of the gear gives a nice boost when overtaking in short distances.

Maintenance cost is not high, parts are readily available on any toyota showroom.
