Machan all Japanese car brands have come a long way however every vehicle has its pros and cons..
You just can't segregate brands like that unless you have plenty of money to become a segment user of a luxurious brand where you always use the latest model for few months or a year.
Every vehicle brand has pros and cons. None is perfect even the most exclusive brands such as BMWs, Mercs, Jags had reliability issues at some point of their time.
Take a look at Koreans such as KIA which was considered crap before 2000s but now it's almost on par with Japanese and even exceed them in some aspects. Like wise some Jap brands had seen their ups and downs in past 2 decades. Mitsus, Nissans. Subarus have declining sales. Well Toyota also has problems specially with cars built for mass market. You know the newer ones though loaded with new tech but feels cheap than older ones. Raize is one of them I guess.
