nowadays, linux is being more and more noob friendly and is attracting a lot of windows users who are average in computing skills. And ubuntu is a lot ahead of all other linux distros. not like arch linux, Ubuntu is a lot newbie friendly and easy to use without a degree in Computer system engineering! And also still, very powerful in the same time. Almost all are in graphical eny and no need to mess up with the terminal.gayan kalhara said:correct in the tech side but..kalinma baya kaloth ubuntu epa venava..
IF you are newbie.(aluth porak) .. its not highly necessary to learn unix/linux commands first.. But its worth if you can..
For the start, the experience of the windows is enough.. then you can watch, read and learn ..
But if you wanna go further.. you should learn those uninx commands... But at the beginning.. not a must...
there are ubuntu books.. but its bit hard to find.. Join ubuntufourms.org and ask.. (just lyk EK but only about ubuntu. there you can find those stuff..
