    No wonder Sri Lankans don't have money at the end of the month.
    Subscription services are carefully designed to make the working class poor.

    I have only 2 subscriptions (in UK)

    Office 365 (roughly £40 per year)
    Disney Plus (free with the Samsung phone)

    Cancelled Amazon Prime because I kept buying things I don't need

    Moved from a contract phone to a contract-free sim


    And I use my savings to enjoy life.

    Subscription services are absolute crap and could be a financial disaster over time for **most of the people.. Just like modern day "Buy Now Pay Later" services, online quick loans, etc...

    Using services/subscriptions to earn an income is fine though. Also on the positive side, one can use these to learn and improve skills..

    I use two on a daily basis : Youtube premium, Netflix.

    For me its not much of an over head. But honestly it is an unnecessary spending
