No wonder Sri Lankans don't have money at the end of the month.
Subscription services are carefully designed to make the working class poor.
I have only 2 subscriptions (in UK)
Office 365 (roughly £40 per year)
Disney Plus (free with the Samsung phone)
Cancelled Amazon Prime because I kept buying things I don't need
Moved from a contract phone to a contract-free sim
And I use my savings to enjoy life.
For me its not much of an over head. But honestly it is an unnecessary spendingAgree, a 100%.
Subscription services are absolute crap and could be a financial disaster over time for **most of the people.. Just like modern day "Buy Now Pay Later" services, online quick loans, etc...
Using services/subscriptions to earn an income is fine though. Also on the positive side, one can use these to learn and improve skills..
I use two on a daily basis : Youtube premium, Netflix.
