Starting May 1, 2025, the Freelancer Service Fee for new contracts will move from a fixed 10% to a variable fee between 0–15%. The goal of this update is to enable a more balanced and competitive marketplace.

What’s changing?

• The fee will vary by contract based on factors like client demand for certain work.​

What’s staying the same?

• Existing contracts won’t be affected.​ • You’ll always see the fee before accepting a contract.​ • Once accepted, the fee stays fixed for that contract.​ • You still set your own rates and keep full control over which contracts you accept.​
