Only now I got to know the power of this feature. It's so cool.

Now I can put the PC to sleep as soon as a power failure occurs, and lower the power consumption dramatically. If the power doesn't come for a long time, I can turn off the UPS' power switch, and it will still save my session. If power comes back soon, I can resume almost instantly.

Very nice feature.

maybe its just hybernating instead of sleeping. Only doing it faster.
Actually it's the best of both worlds. It save to both RAM and HDD. If you don't lose power, it will resume from RAM which is much faster. If you lose power, it will resume from HDD, which is slower, but at least it saves the session.

And I found out this only yesterday :D

yeah. good feature. Does it work with all hardware/software though ?
Hybernating in XP used to wreak havoc with some USB devices and games.

Well, the drivers have to have proper support - this was the case in XP as well ne?

I haven't put into sleep while gaming. Have to check it :D
