But it would be easier if singlish was ported to ubuntu(sadly i have no idea about programing so i wouldn't be able to get it done)
Or if there was another software like that for linux(is there)?

madura ayyas singlish programm should be ported. the prob is with the API. i didn't hv tym to cheq dat. i'll try it soon

The package download is taking a little over 1.5 hours.

Hey all ... You if want to know what really linux is try something other than Ubuntu ... I dont mean to diss Ubuntu just that the hard part is done .. and its always handy as a back up tool ...

Hey, different folks, different strokes man.
Not every *nix user is ready to compile and build everything he wants to use.
Ubuntu is trying to take ubuntu (and therefore linux) to the masses who wants to simply use a PC to get their work done without having to fiddle with the source.
