You dont.
domain Group policies is a Windows Active directory thing. If you need all that, you need a windows domain controller.

You have to plan your OS configuration according to your needs. If you need to have domain group policies, etc on windows clients, you use a windows domain controller to implement them.

1. How 2 create a 'pdf' documnt 4m a word documnt in ubuntu? i knw dat pdf is a propritry format... but r dere any plugin or aplication (even thirt party/ unoficial just like the one use 4 mp3 or wma) 2 use 4 dis purpose?

2. How 2 SAFELY unplug a USB atached 2 e system? in windows dere's a icon on e lower right coner 2 click 4 unpluging it safely... wt is e similar thin in ubuntu?

3. Is dere any plugin or anythin 2 converse with people who usin skype? invitin them 2 Ekiga softphone esential 4 dat?

1 the is a option @ open office (export as pdf) (EDITED)

2 Right click on the Usb's Icon (at the desktop or FIle manager) and click unmount. but no need to be paniced. I never unmount my pen . but still no harm (just wait till the Lights off)

3 you can have skype for linux (go to skype.com)

First off, PDF is not a proprietary format. PDF (Portable Document Format) is an open format.
The easiest way to do hat you want is to open that word document from OpenOffice writer and use the Export directly as PDF button from the tool bar or from the File -> Export as PDF Menu

in Ubuntu, when you plug in a USB drive, there's an icon appearing on the desktop for that device. to Safely remove the drive, right click on that desktop icon and select Safely remove option if its there (some versions have that menu option). If its not there, select Unmount first and after its unmounts the drive select remove option.

3. Is dere any plugin or anythin 2 converse with people who usin skype? invitin them 2 Ekiga softphone esential 4 dat?

Skype has a version for Ubuntu. Download and install that version from the skype site.

Fedora is the community based distro by Redhat and it follows Redhat linux.
While Debian is a 100% GNU/FOSS community based distro that follows Debian linux.
Ubuntu (kubuntu),Linux Mint, Mepis, DSL, knoppix,etc are all derivatives of Debian linux.
And yes, all of them has software packages.
HSPA modems are a bit of PITA with linux but those that has open source support for thier hardware works fine on linux.

1 Yes more than ubuntu have. dats y i'm hopping with fedora u never hv to worry

2 E220, Absolutely Yes. i can't figer out y you can't get connected. but E220 is auto detected in every tym i sw. (did you forgot to dial ?)

One Last thing. Every Soft dat works with Debian IS WORKING with ubuntu.(on the other hand also)

SAMBA wedenam goda dagatte Google ekata pin sidda wenna.
samba.org eke "Official How to" eke Chapter 26 poddak balapan eke thiyenawa method eka.

Basic steps tika mechcharai.

1. Make SAMBA PDC

2. Change user permission to NETLOGON & PROFILES folders.

3. Make a policy file from Windows DC and save as to NETLOGON folder as NTConfig.POL

4. restart the SMB service

2. my microphone not workin wth ubuntu... i tried volume controler settings... they r not muted... but it works wel wth windows...headphones wrk perfectly wth both ubuntu and windows... whr cld b e fault?

3. hw 2 make a shortcut in e desktop 2 a folder in ubuntu? i tried makin a link... it worked 4 dat session but wen i restarts e machine it says dat link is mising... Y is dat? my destnation folder is in a seperate partition... cld dat b a reason?
