Amavis is a mail filtering service for mail servers. Specifically for smtp servers.

the idea of a mail bomb is that if the server tries open the mail bomb, then it'll get in to loop and freeze the server.
So not checking the mailbomb is the right thing to do.
Or have I missed something ?

According to this Passing without opening for check procedure the mail server won't be in a trouble. But when client got this mail what will happened?


I test that. Fortunately the KS/BD/AVG identify and this Bomb, but if some one checks mail without a virus guard he will get infected no


So can't we delete this from the server side???

If those can detect it, then Clamav needs to be updated or rules modified so that it will get detected.
Increase the verbosity in the amavis/clamav logging to see why this mail was skipped.
The reason is reported in the logs.

compared to windows, 10000000000000 times better coz you need a professional hacker (a person) on the other side to hack you. Computer programs won't be able to attack your kubuntu.

can. Mplayer, VLC both have text mode. Also there are other CLI only players.
It requires a working X configuration to play videos though.
