FIRST TIME I"VE SEEN KOSandPOL uncle talking ( typing rather) in sinhala

    GOod improvement ! ;)
Some things are better said in Sinhala. To have the same effect in Eng, I'd have to use a fair amount of filth. :)

FC11 is a BUG... Biggest bug is PULSEAUDIO

    can I get some help?
Anyone who's there installed FC11 and playing videos without problem?
A problem with new PULSEAUDIO has a bug which crashes X11 when videos are started from any player (for HDA intel drivers)
solving bugs of FC11 for 3 days now.... so it's after about 4 days i'm here. This sound bug is too hot to handle. No bug-free updates yet.
I have bug-workarounds enough for 3-4 blog articles now!

How do you do that? I think ALSA and PULSEAUDIO are linked together
    they are not.
Remove all pulse audio components and then install alsa components using the package manager.

I told VLC and Mplayer to use OSS and then ALSA instead of PULSE, but both times VLC gives buggy sound, and mplayer crashed. (No change at all)
What part of removing pulse audio and installing ALSA didnt you understand ?
Without installing alsa you cant use it in applications. Same goes for OSS (which is obsolete now).
