    I installed Mac4lin on FC9 a day before changing to FC11, so no tragedy will happen. Anyway, I was able to return to my original Nodoka theme anytime I like so I didn't try (need to) uninstalling it.
    I guess you should try changing the theme. If it doesn't help, try making a new user. Anyways I don't know what the uninstalling process does.

    machan do yo know about this problem?
    [asiri@asiri-laptop ~]$ compiz-manager
    Checking for Xgl: not present.
    xset q doesn't reveal the location of the log file. Using fallback /var/log/Xorg.0.log
    No whitelisted driver found
    aborting and using fallback: /usr/bin/metacity

    you dont have a graphics driver with opengl in use. Most likely you're using the wrong driver.

    Again, copied from some site... not sure... I seriously think you should re-install gnome! (if your gnome is malfunctioning) :no::no:

    If you have a Intel Video driver, type this on command line (as root)

    mkdir -p ~/.config/compiz/ && echo SKIP_CHECKS=yes >> ~/.config/compiz/compiz-manager

    else install gconf-editor and type gconf-editor in terminal to popup the editor. Make sure that under the apps -> metacity -> general make sure that metacity isn't set as compositing manager (you need to do yum install gconf-editor for installing)

    install the codecs to play mp3. when you try to play mp3, it gives a message asking t install the necessary codecs. Say yes and install the codecs.

    What software is not working in ubuntu ? if they are windows software, then well, they wont work at all. Hello! this is linux, not windows!

    :( problem :( machan, i have to run nvidia-xconfig again and again after restarting the computer to enable nvidia driver :( what may be the problem?
    Your xorg.conf is not getting saved over reboots or getting restored from a backup or you have passed VGA options with the kernel parameters in the grub.

    Check those settings. Specially the /boot/grub/menu.lst for kernel parameters at boot time.
