and you can find more addions for wine. from the net.. (can run even the Office 2007, and some Direct x games too)

    If you are a totally beginner, the Ubuntu 8.10 is the best...

    try other ubuntu vers too..

    kubuntu
    xubuntu
    edubuntu

    and others

    lyk

    fedora
    damnsmall (pen drive)

    and lot others..

    you can find it in the CD (limited)

    but

    if you can access to a PC with a anet.. you can DwnLoad it and set up...

    Hard to find ? its available for direct download from the respective web sites as well as on torrents.

    ubuntu is only 630MB
    PCLinuxOS is far easier than ubuntu as it uses KDE desktop by default (KDE is closer to windows GUI ) and PCLinuxOS is around 700mb (1 CD ).
    Mandriva is bigger. It fits 1 DVD.

    i hvn't try PCLinuxOS,, i'm gonna hv it.. thnx..

    hehe IF you wanna hv a grate small one.. gv a try on damnsmalllinux, im also bring it with my pendrive...

    Its grate and can convert a old Volkswagen to a new Ferrari :D
