ethnic co-existence is important I admit it but the Buddhism should be given the priority in Sri Lanka but it doesn't mean to oppress other religious groups. you should understand Sri lanka is a Buddhist country so you should obey to Sri Lankan tradition, values, culture and you should only practice things that doesn't break the teachings taught in Buddhism like no killing animals by the name of religion , no honor killing, no oppression like that stuff other than that you are freely allowed to practice your religion as you wish.
