Each year we spend more on imports than we earn from exports

We brag about our history that ancient kings have already constructed so many tanks and stupas and now we can't even use those tanks and improvement agriculture. Now in order to build a road we need money from other countries. The island itself has a good climate and strategically located with so much natural beauty but we don't know how to use that to improve the economy.
