Looper [2012] is a thought-provoking movie with a clever ending. If you try to go too deep with the logic & reasoning, you won't enjoy the ride much. Let it play by it's own rules. Some movies are strong enough, so we can ignore or treat their weaknesses as secondary. This is a that kind of movie. I'd give 8.0. One of the best movies watched in 2012. & a must watch.
I read a few interviews done with the director/writer Rian Johnson. Because, it was very clear that movie talks about some stuff like in movies like Matrix. He hints that it's intentional why we would feel that the movie discusses eastern religion concepts like karma. If you have seen the movie to the end, you might understand that.
