and macho.. another thing i have to add for ur reply.. There are so many artists who are not really coming to the Music field. but doing part time music for their leisure time.. and they are Superb talented ppl. and i have to say that record label should pay more to these Artists too..

and most of them when i talk with some directors they copied it and doing it

one is Derana Music Videos.. that was my idea and we talked about it with Ravi and some of the Directors in Derana.. but wadak nae kiyala

fully agree even Dr. Kemadasa has said that. KK is the best singer from the youth..

If they were 40 by now, most of this new guys wouldn't have had much chance. (except Kasun Kalhara probably)

Lyrics - Rs. 12,000

Sureni paid all this money.. so think macho

Its all depends on the track

if the Singer goes to a composer and made the track and paid that person composer cant influence anything and singer owns it. but composer can tell or suggest anything. and same as that to lyrics writers too. if singer paying them. they just doing a job. they cant get the rights. but for some extent they can say it done by them. and singer should mention their names.

I personally knw a frnd of mine who has done some superb rock music trackz n he jst doesn't want them 2 b aired in SL!
He has taken them w/ him 2 NZ n he never let us give it 2 any radio!
He won the 1st place in vocalist in siongle catergory in Talent shows conducted in SL too!!! Basically his complaint z dat he dn't wanna giv it 2 a station unless it z given a proper value!!!

agree..but where is our youth..if they are doing hiphop or reggae or something they have to do it correctly and they should have a finish to there work..doing songs for fame and money is not going to develop our music culture

ya but unfortunately even the Artist stand up do u think Record Labels will back them up... even if they do the Legal Actions will take and it will take like 3 to 4 years to get the Decision from the Courts.. etakota baba hamba wela. he he

Changing copying r 2 different thngs!! K tel me diz, whn u copy paste some thng in MS Word won't it have the same font size,color n everythng???

and for ur Info macho.. do u know how these SL tracks gonna select in Radios. u have to request ne.. so poddak hitanna. if the same person can call more than 10 times to the radios and select that song harida.. ehema kaloth for a week. normally Radio ppl think this song is air playing and requesting more and more so y cant we put it to the Chart kiyala.. so they put it like that... if u badly want a Example for that ill give one
