In the Run dialog
Type services.msc
Select the Windows Update
In the startup type, select Disabled

Else as another poster already suggested Set as a metered connection.

Also you can create a new Key value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows but better to avoid tinkering with the registry if yo aren't sure what you do.

Here's how to set up a Metered Connection in Windows 10.

1. Open the start menu and select Settings.

6. Click Properties.

services app එක open කරන්ඩ. ඒකෙ list එකෙන් Windows Update කියන එක double click කරලා හරි right click කරලා properties වලට ගිහින් හරි එන window එකේ startup type එක Disabled දෙන්ඩ. ඊට යට තියෙන Service status එක stop කරලා apply කරන්ඩ.
කීප සැරයක් ඔව්ව change වෙලා ද කියල chack කරලා බලන්ඩ.

eke Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Update Folder eke thiyena Configure Automatic Update Kiyana Rule eka double click karala Enabled check box eka select karala umbata ona option eka dila save krpn. ita passe machine eka restart karanna
