Sorry for being late to reply you, as it's now that I saw your Visitor Message.
First of all, I wanna bring to your knowledge that, whenever you make a reply to the sender of a Visitor Message, please post it not in your profile, but in the sender's profile.
Otherwise, the sender will never know that you made a reply, until he/she visits your profile.
Now, let's come to your problem. Please follow the steps below.
- Download NCH Sound File Converter from here; http://www.nch.com.au/components/switchsetup.exe. The reason I told you to use NCH Sound File Converter is that, it can convert any type of audio file that others can't.
- Open the downloaded setup file. In License Agreement window, select I accept the license terms & click on Next. Then, you come to Optional Programs and Extras window. Here, keep all tools unchecked, as we don't need them in our case. Click on Finish, so the program opens.
- Now, put all mp3 files used for your project into the program's list. Don't rename any of them.
- This is an important thing to do. First, select Output Format as .wma. Then, click on Encoder Options... button, so you can see WMA Encoder Options window. Here, select Codec as Windows Media Audio 9, select Format as 96 kbps, 44 kHz, stereo (A/V) CBR & click on OK.
- Click on Convert button to convert all mp3 files on the list.
- After the conversion is complete, go to where the mp3 files used for your project are stored & delete them all. Now, move all converted wma files to that location. What we just did is that, we relieved Windows Movie Maker from struggling to convert mp3 files used for your project. By other means, Windows Movie Maker doesn't need to convert them again, as they've already been converted.
- Finally, open your project in Windows Movie Maker, so the converted wma files should automatically be associated with your project. Now, it's time to save your movie & you know how to do it.
