thers another way you can avoid instaling xp from CD,
boot up the PC from command prompt (use floppy or cd n boot ur pc to win32 command prompt)
copy i386 folder to c: and change directory to c:\i386
type winnt32/source:c:\i386 (not sure abt exact command type help in case any doubt) no need cd to install if u execute copy source command
read more winnt32 command by typing help
