But recently I had a news about this crazy "Chirantha Amarasinghe", who is spreading lies and insulting our winners and judges. I was also there for YCS 2007. If u remember me I was the one who did that Sinhala Biological Encyclopedia "Manavaya".

As the above article is mentioning I was the 1st Runner up of Senior category of YCS 2007. That day when v did r presentations for final round, they told that they'll invite the winners to the Award Ceremony no... But I didn't get any invitation & I forgot about that.

Last week (March 2009) a person called Mr.Sujan called me & told that he found a Silver Medal & a certificate that belongs to me & asked me to collect it. If u remember the advertisement published on SLASI web about YCS, they've mentioned that there's a Silver Medal, certificate & a cash prize for the 1st runner-up. Plz see the pic of advertisement below.

But when I went Mr.Sujan gave me the Medal & certificate & when I asked he told that he found only the medal & certificate, he dont know about a cash prize. He told that he was not the person who organized YCS in 2007 but now he's orhanizing it. May be he really dont know about a cash prize or he lied me. However with thanks to him I had atleast the Medal & the certificate.

Sad story is I even got to know that I'm the 1st Runner-up of YCS 2007 in March 2009.

But I'm not going to giveup this. If there was a cash prize to the 1st Runner-up, I should be owned it. The mistake was not done by me no.. That was their mistake.

If u can plz help me for this. I still don't know whether there was a cash prize for me & what is it (The amount of the prize not mentioned in the advertisement). I want to know what was the cash prize for Silver of Senior category. If there was a cash prize to the Bronze medal, that means I should also have a cash prize somewhat higher than the bronze.

Plz help me.
