Apo na...ape kale NIBM was a great place...NIBM had great place in SW industry...,even we had chance to join forces as Capton.
any vacancy published in news papers were specifically mentioned NIBM diploma as a requirment...
we leaned lot of IT fundemantals...which support to do any SW development using any new tool.

those days LOGO was "ka" in singhala alphabet. displine was number one and lectures were very tuff.

even instructors were very tuff...but we enjoyed that period...,

Nop..havent heard, but i havent see that much of recognition,,,these days...after Dr. Jayasiri

if it is still good...thts great...u will really find out that once you finish it and come in to real industry...any way good luck

Me tooooooo, my only advice is..dont just depend on wht u leant there...try to do ur own things (design, programs)...and findout most suitable area for u..

like..programming, Multimeadia, Web, HW, management, QC, analysing...

and try to be a master of that area...,

dont try to become a IT person just bcose u dont have anything else to do..or just bcose some one ask u to do...

if u have IT une (feaver), then do it...jst a simple advice
