U need to take the visas' from the thai embassy in Nawam mawatha. Greenlanka Building.
If it is ur first time they will ask for some bank balance probably, other than that there is no strict regulation.

There are many places to see. its better if u check tripadvisor or some other travel site machan. they explain well better than us.

I used to stay at the Ambassador hotel, that is in the sukhumwith road. but there are many more places in Bkk city for low prices.

Book online with a travel agent like alpharooms, roomsnet.com (this is a sri lankan company, good rates. i recommend them)
