Kapruka Global Shop is a Scam ?

I hav ordered a Emotiva RCA cable from them a couple of months ago to check their service.. Received the package in about 2 weeks.. so ordered a more expensive item about a month back...when i was finally able to get thru to them (the buggers r not answering the phone) said thast my item is with customs & will be able to clear it next week

Lets see if they r lying about my item as well

I always paid for all my items the full amount online..

Ordered a Corsair K95 Mechanical keyboard (thats the item they say is with the customs..which now going on a month)

The second item i ordered 2 weeks ago was a Koss in-ear earbuds which came to around 4k

Both items I paid fully online

Maybe if u pay the full amount they atleast try to get the items down ??? I dont klnow..

Most of the guys (including the guys who ordered the laptops) who hav 2-3 months delays..did u pay the full amount or just an advance ??

GLOBALSHOP Guy>> first ask your staff to atleast answer the damn phone..is this is how u r giving us customer service ? also it seems that u charge us shipping fees for individual items & wait for weeks until u collect enough items to ship at one time so u can make more profit..dont u get your profit from 5% of each item ? thats a shit service that rips off customers sir

I've been told that my item is with the customs & can be cleared this Monday or Tuesday... If i dont get my item by Wednesday will be coming to your shop & will be asking a refund

As brief this is what was happen. This might be useful if you planing to get something from Kapruka.

I made this order on August 5th. Since i wanted it soon as possible i asked their agents to select 2nd shipping method. It cost me bit extra as well. I'v been waited patiently about a month. After a month, i called their agents they said that "your item is still at customs and will get it soon". When its getting late I directly contact their CEO, Mr. Dulith.

This is his words -


First mistake they did was shipping to a wrong location at USA. As they told same mistakes happen twice. So initially my shipment got late because of that.

On 16th September (after one month and 10 days) they sent it to Sri lanka via DHL. But because of their 3rd mistake it was rejected and sent back (told it was a document issue).

Then again on 26th (after one month and 20 days) they sent it. This shipment also delayed as it sent through wrong route by DHL.

On October 4th it arrived Sri Lanka. They took 7 days to prepare import documents and cleared on 11th October. Finally i was thinking that i could able to get it today. So i called their customer care but did not answer. Then i contacted their marketing manager and asked for a update ...

After 2 months and one week his answer was "Sir, your item was lost while shipping. We can give you a refund".

So that's my story. You guys can decide whether going for Kapruka.

I will get the refund on Monday. They still says my item is coming on next shipment. I will get it only if i get price reduction as promised.
