Call recording laws would affect everyone, not just one gender. In the uk as long as one party is aware of recording taking place its legal, ie unless you have a court order you can't listen to someone else's phone call. Which would allow call recording software. However, wp may not allow a sandboxed app to have access to this feature. I also doubt very much its a must have killer feature. Yes it would be nice but its a non essential feature for average users.
As far as I can tell direct recording of a call on the phone itself isn't supported by iOS either. All Apps that support it there require you to add a special service to the phone call as in a conference call so that the recording can be done there.
Yep, iOS doesn't support it at all (unless you jailbreak it, but the only tweak has a voice message in the beginning of the call to inform the caller that he's being recorded - due to legal problems). So from the "major" 3 OSes, only android supports call recording. And I doubt it's officially supported by the OEMs/Google, it's more likely because android is a way more open OS.
The law is the law you know...in my country you have to notify the all parties involved in the call that you are recording it, and you can easily get in jail if you record calls without express permission from all parties, every time you record.

Microsoft මචං rules හදල නැහැ, එයාල තියෙන rules වලට අනුගත වෙනවා. apple එකක් ගත්හත් jail break කරන්නේ නැතුව call record කරන්න බැහැලු මචං. Android Open source නිසා පුළුවන්, ​
