Porn legend Rocco Siffredi has shocked fans by confirming that he will QUIT the adult film industry out of love for his wife.
The 50-year-old, whose real name is Rocco Antonio Tano, made the decision after appearing on the Italian version of the reality TV show Survivor.
The adult film star became emotional after being sent into solitary confinement on the show’s Nude Beach for an entire week as a part of an in-show punishment.
After leaving the show he confided in a friend, telling them: "I never felt so naked as I did then.
"I was all alone and it gave me a lot of time to think about what is important.
"And I realised I don’t want to lose my wife.
"So I am going to leave porn."
His Hungarian born model-turned-porn-star wife Rosa Caracciolo, 42, who he met in Cannes before appearing alongside her in Tarzan X: The Shame of Jane, said: "I know him very well and I love him for who and what he is.
"Let’s see what the new version of him will be like."
But stunned female fans have reacted with dismay.
One, Maria Folliero, 33, said: "I love his films and he is one of the few porn stars to make it into mainstream.
"He is cool and him giving up porn will be a sad, sad loss to the industry."
Another, Alessia Moretti, 32, agreed saying: "These days porn is too mechanical and dull.
"He brought real flare and passion to the screen.
"He shouldn’t go."
