I found a children's book of Norse legends. From what I can tell, the pictures show the end of the world - not in a sudden firestorm of damnation as the Bible teaches us, but in a slow covering blanket of snow. people imaginate things and declare them as the absulote thuth and force others to believe those things, and after thousands of years they are considered as mythologies. and by that time there are some other belief systems, and they too get labeled as myths after another thousands of years, this pattern is persisting right?...

of course it's a pattern..humans hate not knowing things..our curse is we have been given an imagination as deep and profound as the the universe itself and no knowledge to match that..so we create monsters and gods to fill the blanks..one millenniums religion/science become next ones myths..

in another few centuries christianity, buddhism (-reps welcome), islman these philosophies will be taught as mythology..while our suns and daughters believe in things we now cannot perceive..
