The biggest issue in Sri Lanka is less entertainment associated in Scenic places and around. How Thais earning in Phuket and Indunesia in BAli, What ever you want you have it.

Very true.

Majority of the foreigners who had visited the island in 2017 are Indians & Chinese. As I remember it accounts for more than 40% of 2.2 Million. Everyone know how Indians spend & Chinese community is more adapted to the conditions in local living patterns. They're here to get something out & exploit the opportunities in SL.

Yes, if you look on google map Sri Lanka is exactly halfway between Aust and Europe. There are more than 20 jumbos flying daily between Aust and Europe. At the moment all the flights have to go through Asia or Middle-east. They have to go out of the way and one 14hr flight and one 7hr flight. If they transit through SL it will be in a straight line and exactly two 10hr flights.
