oh! I didn't notice that. So hdmi doesn't support multiple outputs on a single port? It's only possible with a DisplayPort?

Yes the HDMI 2.0 specification supports the delivery of two different video streams - but to the SAME screen.
This is the trick used with dual view on 3D TV.
The extended display is only possible with DP.
