that is just bs they don't allowed take weeding photos in front of maligawa you believe her. she is a NGO radical what they want is attention and they want to stir up some problems like all ways.to take photos or video for film or documentary you need approval form maligawa bureaucracy witch they didn't have if they did they will have a officer form maligawa with them.


yes they can have a different culture but they must respect the culture and traditions of the place they visit.

i can't assume things.. i posted my opinion based on the news..i wasn't there to witness it....

Just because west accepts, doesn't mean its the universal truth. countries have traditions and values that unique to that country. Respect that.
Do some research on the net and you ll find how many lobbyist have influenced LGBT legislations in those countries. And how many doctors they have hired to get it removed from mental disorders list.
im personally not against gay marriages but they shouldn't adopt kids as its simply not their territory. Nature doesnt want it means it shouldn't happen. a child needs a mother. not a man and a sissy.

But, taking photos as a couple shouldn't be an issue,,,anyway, if the society see it as an issue there should be a law against it... like i said earlier u cant enforce tradition on to people who dont accept those traditions, u can only enforce 'laws' which everyone has to abide,

What you are saying is true for a simple photograph. but as we all well aware that its not just taking photos. We have to take everything happened there in to consideration.



first of all its a gay marriage ceremony kind of scene which gets obvious attention of the people specially in an area like kandy.


and the man is wearing a Nilame suite.

The other guy (spouse) is wearing a manipulated Osari, a traditional dress.

This all happening during busy daytime on the streets of Kandy near temple of the sacred tooth relic.



now just imagine the whole scenario above, I think they have asked for trouble, willingly.

im not saying sri lankas should accept gays... But, taking photos as a couple shouldn't be an issue,,,anyway, if the society see it as an issue there should be a law against it... like i said earlier u cant enforce tradition on to people who dont accept those traditions, u can only enforce 'laws' which everyone has to abide,

there are is a low dude inside maligawa aria you cant take wedding photos you cant wear short shorts and mini skirts there are some other rules inside maligawa that come from when SL rule by kings don't assume or talk the things you dont know.


in conclusion they broke our old rules and they insult our culture and heritage so you want to still defend them?.
