උඹලට මතකද ගොඩක් ඉස්සර තිබුනු රටකජු වල අර සිවිය වගේ පොත්ත තද ලේ රතුපාට ප්රභේදයක් තිබුනේ

AFAIK all peanuts are genetically the same for the last 10,000 years and belongs to
Arachis hypogaea. It's said that the origin of the peanut plant was through a sheer accident. A pair of bees somewhere in Peru, cross-pollinated two wild plant species, and created the peanut as we know it today.
But selective breeding has given rise to several varieties or types. I don't think there's a lot of differences between them.
China is probably the largest peanut producers in the world. It's said that they grow using naturally available fertilizer.
PS: Fruits in general have lost the smell and differ in taste as well.
