TFS. I think industrial farming (heavy use of pesticides), fast food, stress and anxiety are the main factors behind this surgeThe real truth is that the Global cancer incidence has gone up. It's only days ago that the UN announced -
"The number of new cancer cases worldwide could rise to almost 35 million a year by 2050 unless countries take urgent action to strengthen prevention, early diagnosis and treatment, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned on Wednesday."
The Global Cancer report simply outlines that cancer already causes more than 26,000 deaths every day, with an estimated 20.6 million new cases and nearly 10 million deaths annually, making it the world's second leading cause of death after cardiovascular disease.
The report also mentioned about inequalities - According to the report, survival rates differ sharply between rich and poor countries. While 87 per cent of women diagnosed with breast cancer survive for at least five years in high-income countries, the figure falls to around 42 per cent in low-income countries.
Just search for the report and read it rather than getting half baked information over social media.
Another search on Australian cancer rates came up with what's below.

I've already mentioned that in my previous response.Single biggest contributor to most types of cancer is age. People live much longer these days therefore high likelihood of dying from cancer.

I've already mentioned that in my previous response.

nope not just skin cancer
got to be mostly due to old age, diet (processed red meat consumption) and alcohol.
generally richer countries top the list because they have plenty of all the above.

SL population is aging fast and we are living longer than our peers.doubt it. country needs to become richer and we don't do red meat well.
that's probably due to falling birth rates. We've always had decent life expectancy levels that rival developed countries.SL population is aging fast and we are living longer than our peers.
