Grammar
The rules in a language for changing the form of words and joining them in to sentences.

වචන රටාවන් වෙනස් කරමින් සහ ඒවා එකතුකරමින් වාකය
සැදිම භාෂාවක ඇති රිති සමුහයවයාකරණ ලෙස හදුන්වනවා.

01.Noun
A word that refers to a person, a place or a thing, a quality or an activity.
Eg: *Doctor
*Car
*Paris
*Cricket

02. Subject
A noun, noun phrase or pronoun representing the person or thing that performs the action of the verb, about which is stated or, in a passive sentence that is affected by the action.
Eg: Ravi drives the car.
According to this sentence “Drive” is the action. The person who performs the action is Ravi. Then we can identify “Ravi” as the subject of this sentence.
03. verb
A word or group of words that expresses an action an event or state.

Eg: *Eat (action)
*Happen (event)
* Exist (state)
* verb can be extended such as regular verbs irregular verbs transitive verbs and intransitive verbs etc. we’ll be further to discussed about them in the future.
04. Object
A noun, noun phrase or pronoun that refers to a person or thing that is affected by the action of the verb or that the action is done to or for.
These are the initial requirements that you should understand when you learn English Grammar.
