Yes this was the plan, and also some are saying why police watching not guarding their houses. The reason is the plan is to curfew and control colombo after the attack. They didn’t think people will attack this quickly from outside colombo.

All politicians know the tipping points of the Sri lankans. That is why they never solve any pressing issue asap. They want to use it for their elections.
