Sorry friend.. It's not exactly the vaccine - but it's how some people react to it. I wrote about vaccine reactions a while ago. In the US (Pfizer and Moderna) those who had reactions were mostly women. Every individual will react differently.
The older you get the reactions should be less, as your body takes a while to respond. In fact, with an older person, the antibody formation takes much longer than for a 25 year old.
It works like a bee sting. Generally if 100 bees sting you, you will survive. But in rare occasions (for some) just a single bee sting can lead to anaphylaxis and death.
Any drug or vaccine can have it's reaction.
As of today 3.22 Billion doses have been administered worldwide. The reported adverse reactions far outweigh the benefit, considering that today marked the 4 Million deaths.
