I stand with the biker.

getting sober and driving should treat as a crime equal to homicide.

However biker act purely on his heart not with the brain. for that he has to face consequences.

Another fact : Biker is seems to be low middle class earn guy. how can he afford the time and money to waste upon court,police & lawyers over a drunkard who happen to be nearly kill his wife and unborn infant.

im the drunkard driver. you and your preg. wife got bumped by me and when you angrily approached me. i reply back with harsh words and doesn't care about your wife is pregnant. what will your initial response ?/

First of all I might curse you and yell at you but I will never approach to you and try to hit you. I might video record you for evidence.
Actually I have done the same, Couple of years ago I was hit by a car driver when I was riding my bike with my wife(she is not pregnant at that time and also nothing happened to both of us but if I was not able to control the bike it could be a terrible accident). I blame him and recorded the incident(also got the public support). when the police arrive I had all the evidence to prove that the car driver is guilty. And finally even though the car driver had a political connection he had to apologize because I was so strong with my evidence and the public support(The shop owners provided their CCTV footages to me).

Police station was couple of meters away. what he do is don't wait till pedestrians cross the road even light is green for pedestrians crossing.

compared to you what did i get in return ?

police came up. they charged me fix his three wheel or go to remand. even F king Police knows him,
luckily my friends came up. and driver agrees to reduce his demand.
So i end up paying good money to him. he gets away with smile.

Ultimate truth i learned in that is to survive in SL you have to had connections. and having a good knowledge of SL Law and how its operates.

For a traffic accident(unless a person is died or hospitalized) the police cannot lawfully arrest you. but if you hit the other driver or damage their vehicle then they could arrest you. If I feel the police is bias then I demand to go to the courts to resolve the issue. If the other party is low class scum such as three wheel driver it doesn't matter how many connections they have If the problem goes to the courts you can get rid of 95% of their supporters, even the politicians don't like to involve in court cases (Just show that you can spend some money to hire a good Lawyer).
But never yell at the police or the public that will favor the other party.
Best example is our President Mr Ranil Wikramasinghe even though I don't agree with his politics we can learn many things from him about how to act calmly and turn the tables to your favor even it seems impossible
