2600 වෙනි බුද්ධ ජයන්තිය අතලඟ නිසා බෞද්ධයා යනු කවරෙක්ද යන්න අනෙක් ආගම් වල සහෝදරයන්ට හා බෞද්ධයන් කෙරෙහි වෛරයෙන් පසුවන සියලුදෙනා හට පැහැදිලි කිරීම සඳහා මෙම thread එක ලියමි

කිසිම කෙනෙක් උපතින් බෞද්ධයෙක් වෙන්නෙ නැහැ කියල බුදුන් දේශණ කරලා තියෙනවා. බෞද්ධයෙක් වෙන්නෙ තිසරණ සරණ යන අය. ඒ කියන්නෙ බුදුන්. ධහම්, සඝුන් සරණ යන අය. ඒක හරියට ශිෂ්‍යයෙක් වෙන්නෙ uniform ඇඳගෙන school යනකොට වගේ..

බුද්ධාගම කියල දෙයක් නැහැ. තියෙන්නෙ බුද්ධ ධර්ශනය කියල දෙයක්. ඕනම කෙනෙක් කිසිම පැත්තක් නොගෙන කල්පනා කලොත් තේරෙයි බුද්ධ දේශණාව ඇත්තයි කියලා.
මොකද බුදු කෙනෙක්ගේ කාර්යය වෙන්නෙ මේ ලෝකේ තියෙන සත්‍යය පෙන්නලා දෙන එකයි.

අපි හැමෝම දන්නවා අපි සියලු දෙනා ඉපදිලා දවසක මැරෙනවා. ආයිත් ඉපදෙනවා ආයිත් මැරෙනවා. කිසිම තේරුමක් නැති වැඩක්. බුදු කෙනෙක් කරන්නේ මේ තේරුමක් නැති වැඩේ වෙන්න හේතුව මොකක්ද කියලා හොයනවා.. ඒ හේතුව නැති කරලා අර කියපු තෙරුමක් නැති වැඩේ නවත්තන හැටි මිනිස්සුන්ට කියල දෙන එකයි. සම්පූර්න බුදු දහමෙ තියෙන්නෙ ඔන්න ඕක තමයි.
ඉතින් ඒක කියපු කෙනාට වෛර කරන්න හේතුවක් නැහැ නේද?

මම පොඩි ඉල්ලීමක් කරනවා මේක කියවන හැමෝගෙන්ම.
විනාඩි 5ක් කිසිම දෙයක් හිතන්නෙ නැතුව ඉන්න පොඩි උත්සහයක් අරන් බලන්න.

ඒක කොච්චර අමාරු දෙයක්ද කියල ඔයාලට තේරෙයි. බුදු කෙනෙක් උගන්නන්නෙ අන්න ඒක කරන හැටි.

අපි ඉපදෙන්නෙ අපේ හිත නිසා.. අපි මැරුනම අපේ හිත වෙනත් ඇගක් ඇතුලට යනවා , එතනින් මැරුනම වෙන ඇගක් ඇතුලට යනවා. මේක ඉවරයක් වෙන්නෙ නැහැ.එහෙම වෙන්නෙ අපේ හිත නැවතිලා නැති හින්දා.. හිත හැම තැනම දුවනවා..
හිත දුවන වේගෙ සමාන කරන්න පුලුවන් වෙනත් කිසිම දෙයක් මේ ලෝකෙ කොහේවත් නැහැ. එච්චරට හිත වේගවත්. ඒත් අපිට හිත නවත්තන්න පුලුවන්. හිත නැවතුනාට පස්සෙ අපි මැරුනම හිත වෙන ඇඟකට රිංගන්නෙ නැහැ. හිත නැවතිලා.

අන්න ඒක තමයි බුදුකෙනෙක් කියල දෙන්නෙ. අපිට මොකක් හරි කියල දෙන කෙනෙක්ට බනින්න හොඳ නැහැ නේද?
අපිට ඕනනම් අපිට පිලිගන්න පුලුවන්.. අපිට ඕන නැත්තම් ඒක අයින් කරල වෙන දෙයක් කරන්න පුලුවන්. එහෙම නොකර ගුරුවරයෙක්ව හොය හොය අපහාස කරන එක මනුස්සයෙක් කරන වැඩක් නේවේ නේද?

මම වෙනත් ආගම් වල සහෝදරයන්ට ආරධනා කරනවා බුද්ධ දර්ශණය ගැන හොයල බලන්න කියලා. මොන ආගමක් ඇදහෙව්වත් බුද්ධ දර්ශණයෙන් අපේ ජීවිත වලට ගන්න් දේවල් ඕන තරම් තියෙනවා. ඒකට ආගම මොකක් උනත් ප්‍රශ්නයක් නැහැ. ඒක නිකන් එකම ඉස්කෝලෙ එක එක ආගම් වල ලමයි ඉගෙන ගන්නව වගේ.

ඇත්ත ඉගෙන ගන්න ආගම බාදාවක් කරගන්න එපා. ඒ වගේම ඇත්තට අපහාස කරන්නත් එපා. එහෙම කලොත් ඇත්ත කවදාවත් ඔයාලට පිහිට වෙන එකක් නැහැ.

අපි මොන දෙවියන් ඇදහෙව්වත් අපි මැරෙන වෙලාවට අපිත් එක්ක යන්න එන්න කවුරුත් නැහැ. ඉතුරු වෙන්නෙ මේ ලෝකෙ සත්ත්‍ය විතරයි. ඒ නිසා සත්ත්‍ය දැනගෙන ඉන්න. මැරෙන මොහොතෙ පිහිටක් ලැබෙයි ඒකෙන්.

අස්සයෙක්ව විලක් ගාවට එක්ක යන්න පුලුවන්.. ඒත් ඒ අස්සයා වෙනුවෙන් අපිට වතුර බොන්න බැහැ. අස්සයා වතුර බිව්වොත් විතරයි අස්සයට වතුර ලැබෙන්නේ.

I won't say more than that. it seems u people has blinded from the religion. it's not the way to achieve whatever you are trying to seek on. it's just a way of extremists. think from your mind not from your heart. that's the philosophy behind the Buddhism. Buddhism isn't a religion it's a philosophy that anyone can learn.
u gotta get rid whatever garbages from your mind unless you will never be able to achieve the nirvana or something.

can u just leave it alone? Why the hell are u so bothered about how buddhists practice their religion? Do we go around telling you how to practice yours? Now who's the extremist here? And extremism? Don't get me started on it. Certain religions killed people people in order to force conversion upon them. They killed whoever that disagreed with them. If you want to want to know what extremism is, just go read about those those things.

And you better cast stones only if you are completely without sin. Are u telling that christians are blameless angels? Hardly, when they are still very much bigoted, more so than other religions. (Not to mention how they forced their religion on other people.)

thats the popular beleif....most "religions" (including islam) has a philosophical component...Buddhism is not an exception...it too has a philosophical component...but that doesn't make it a philosophy...Christian philosophy is more slanted towords theology and meta-physics...Buddhist philosophy is more concerned about evil...
