    සනසන රිසින් නුඹ ගැයුවෙමී...
    ඒ අසා උන්නේ අපුලෙනී
    මා නොදැන සැමදා ගැයුවෙමී...
    නුඹ සප්ත ස්වරයම පටලැවී
    වෙණ තත් කඩා දා ගිය හැටී...
    මට හඬන්නට සිතු සේ වැටී
    මේ රැයේ කළුවර නම් මදී...

    පෙර පැතූ සේ වෙසතුරුම වී
    මගෙ සිහින වත්කම් දන් දුනී...
    වංකගිරියේ වල් වැදී
    සාගිනි නිවා රැක ගත්තෙමී...
    හිතේ තෙත නැති වනේ උන් ගෙන්
    නේක නින්දා ලැබුවෙමී ...
    නිවන නුඹ ළඟ යැයි සිතූවද
    කොතැන හෝ මට වැරදිනී...

    බෝ නිම්න තිබුනත් මල් පිපී
    නුඹ ගිරි හිසේ උන් මල සකී
    කඳුළු ඉස පර වී නොදී
    මා දිවා රෑ රැකගත් හැටී...
    දැන් ඒ මල් ගසේ විස කටු එතී
    හිත කැළැලි මට ගානක් නැතී...
    යන්න ඕනෑ නම් කියන් සකි
    මට ඉක්මනින් යන්නට හැකී...

    I think it's about a girl who believed in a love that the one she loved did not quite get..

    thinking it's well received, she kept loving in her way until the guy who couldn't go on with it anymore, bailed..probably after screwing her :D

    now, having lost her shit, she's lost herself..not knowing how to survive after her loss, she's fallen into world of depravity..cos ppl around her would not understand her..but being trapped in her love/torment, she's unable to leave that life behind..so she has no dreams of any purity..only lives for the sake of it.
